Alien Takeover
This game was made for the Godot Wild Jam #81
You've landed on EARTH and you have one mission.
After a rocky landing, you've arrived on Earth. You've been sent here to destroy the MASTER COMPUTER, and all the human's records. To do that you'll have to navigate through the streets and find the items you'll need a long the way.
Being an alien can be distressing to the humans you find, but thankfully you have a powerful shapeshifting power that allows you to assume a HUMAN form. Use this form (or not) to talk to the city folk and find the MASTER COMPUTER and upload the VIRUS.

This whole project was the idea of my daughter, who was very inspired by our last jam and wanted to participate. She took the lead on all the creative decisions, the plot, the story, and drew concept art as well as final assets. She was also very excited about the acapella wild card, and together we made all the music and audio with just our voices. It was super fun and I'm excited to keep working on projects with her.

oh my god this is so cute!!!!!
Wait were you the model for the bad guy's concept art ? I'm dying :p your project is so wholesome <3 it was very fun to play !
Aw I loved the story and the pixel art charm! Well designed level and the silliness of making puns at the confused humans and breaking fire hydrants for fun was the best. What a wholesome game jam dev team, wishing you and your daughter all the best! :3
I love the story your daughter come up with very well done mini developer!!
The overall game feels very thought out and polished and the music is very catchy ^^ good job!!
Your daughter has a bright future in game development - I get the struggle of only being able to get so much done in a week, but even with what's here this game put a big smile on my face
This game is adorable! The ending was a little abrupt, but I enjoyed the experience. Also I am totally human, no need to look closer...
